Explain why the period of time referred as pax romans did not really mean two hundred years of roman peace

Pax Romans is a time for around 200 years that Rome experienced peace both internal and external. This does not mean that for 2 centuries there were no wars and no revolts but in contrast to the past and especially to the time after the 200 years it was as peaceful that it is ever going to get. The Roman Empire in this time had the most amount of land that it will ever have and had 1/3 of the world's population.

the results of roman expansion produced social conflict and civil war. julius caesar gained power and became a dictator but was then assassinated. the reign of augustus began a long period of imperial rule and peace in the roman empire. rome faced the problems of how to maintain peace, law, and order.
