In this chapter Tom sawyer escapes into the woods melancholy thinking about why Becky had treated him so badly, he began thinking that Becky would be much happier if he were dead. Therefore, Tom had the idea to think if there was a way to realize Becky's reaction to his possible death. Then he decides to be a pirate and finally he finds Joe Harper, they play together representing Robin Hood, but in this game it is not possible to kill Tom because he is the one representing Robin and according to the story that would not be possible for which they decide to change characters.
