In about a 100 words, discuss the difference between a direct democracy and a representative democracy. do it !

A direct democracy is where the citizens themselves vote to make decisions. No one is left out, if you know what I mean ;). This practice only really worked effectively in smaller regions. When a direct democracy took place in areas with more people, it was chaotic and disastrous.

In a representative democracy the people vote through someone else. The people  choose others to represent them and their ideas. This is common in today's times and can be seen in the United States of America.
