How did the us government promote the war at home

Providing supplies to American and Allied troops fighting the war in Europe, Africa, and the Pacific required the efforts of all Americans. At home, citizens contributed to the war effort by rationing consumer goods, recycling materials, purchasing war bonds, and working in war industries. At home, buying war bonds or savings stamps was probably the most common way to support the war. When people bought a bond or a savings stamp, they were lending money to the government.
