The Montgomery Bus Boycott was civil rights protest carried out by African Americans. They protested by refusing to ride the city buses in Montgomery, Alabama. It started on December 5, 1955 and lasted till 20 December 1956.  Martin Luther king was the black leader of the Black Africans Americans, he negotiated with the city commissioners and bus companies to follow the first come first serve policy in buses  but it was unsuccessful. Blacks were attacked by the white Americans and their Churches were burned.
