It started In America and soon spread to the other colonies, in control of these two mother countries. Britain suffered heavy losses during the war which it except, the colonies to pay. Secondly, the territorial gained by British supplement their thought that it would benefit the colonies. Moreover, Britishers believed that they have saved colonies from invasion and these reasons led them to imply heavy taxes on the colonists which became the main reason for the revolution.
