Why was the battle of saratoga a turning point in the war

It convinced  the French to join the battle along side the colonist .

The Patriot victory at Saratoga is often seen as theturning point in the war. Not only did it renew the morale of the American public, but it convinced potential foreign partners, such as France, that American could win the war

The native americans, spanish, french and americans all name places in our state. the word “arkansas” came from the quapaw indians, by way of early french explorers. at the time of the early french exploration, a tribe of indians, the quapaws, lived west of the mississippi and north of the arkansas river.
