The points that  Machiavelli’s which to set out is that the previous republic is more dangerous to manage compare to the ones that are gotten through succession because the previous republic will always want to fight back if not strongly controlled.

Also, he made us understand that a prince must be ready to bring down such territory who have been used to a certain way of life before it can be fully governed based on reasoning.
