Letter of Birmingham is the open letter written by Martin Luther King and the main purpose of the letter is to defend the non violent resistance to racism.

In the letter, Dr. king explains that how important it is to protest against the racial segregation in a non violent manner. he was deeply saddened by the white leaders who  were not ready to lend their ears to the grievances of the African Americans.
