discuss with your partner your feelings whether or not roosevelt's plan
should have been approved by congress, and come to an agreement. the
two senators from texas in 1937 were morris sheppard and tom connally.
both democrats. write a message to one of these senators that tells him how
you feel about roosevelt's plan, how you think he ought to vote on it, and
why. be sure and sign your names to the telegram.
