The early Roman Catholic Church in the year 1500s where in total control of the world system. This include:the world politics,commerce and religious obligation. The pope wasn't just only a religious figure as at then,h e was seen as a ruler also.

The great awaking which happened in the year 1749 was majorly an eye opener for the masses to see how entrapped they were with the laid down rules and regulations.

Fiercy Pentecostal,Anglicans, Lutheran,and Baptist preachers took the gospel with great ethustatic and with visions of changing the many wrongs and belief. Such belief lives include :

1) All people are born sinners.

2) Sin without salvation will send a person to hell.

3) All people can be saved if they confess their sins to God, seek forgiveness and accept

God’s grace.

4) All people can have a direct and emotional connection with God.

5) Religion shouldn’t be formal and institutionalized, but rather casual and personal.

The above listed points where contrary to the Catholic church doctrines and when studied closely they are entrapping cutting off the chance of voicing out your taughts.

Great preachers like Jonathan Edwards,John Calvin and George Whitefield made great impact to on spiritual awaking in the 1740s.

The movement of goods grew immensely as the control power of the Catholic church was reduced by the great radical Pentecostal awaking. People where no longer bound by the Roman Catholic laws.
