What happened after Venezuela won formal Independence

General Miguel de la Torre combined his armies and met the combined forces of Bolívar and Páez at the Battle of Carabobo on June 24, 1821. Venezuela won which then basically secured their independenc. Mostly becuase Spain knew they could never re-take the area.
