The statement, “It’s a myth” means or refers to something that is not fully true, but it is claimed to be true. It’s basically like if some random person was to tell you a story that something happened to them that was seen as farfetched, in reality no one really knows if it actually happened or not. When someone says ‘it’s amyth’ there are refering to something, or someone that is not really believeible because of unknown originons, we as people often onl believe in what we can see and feel. When somethingis not real to us we often refer to them as myths. In contrast,
