There were no documents attached so I will have to be general.

Women in Afro-Eurasia in the period 1200 - 1450 were generally considered to be weaker and inferior to men. They were therefore treated as second-class citizens.

They were however, able to exercise some measure of influence and power but this was mostly based on a variety of factors:

Social class - women of higher social class were more influential and in some areas were able to rule albeit with reduced power which they lost as soon as they got married. Dominant religion - In Western Christian areas, women were less discriminated against and so could influence more things. This was in contrast to Islam and Orthodox Christianity where women were more secluded and discriminated against. In Islam however, women had more economic rights as they could own property and could remarry after divorce. Local culture - Different cultures treated women with varying degrees of significance in that period. In China for instance, women had less political power than men and indeed were given more domestic roles. Women could therefore not influence power and influence much in such areas.

In conclusion, the place, religion and social class were very important in determining the influence a woman had in society.

During the period of 1200-c1450 in Afro-Eurasia communities women had comparatively less power than their men. They lived life freely and without much restrictions. Women exercised varying degrees of freedom and independence in the private and public world due to different belief systems, family relations, political contexts, and social classes.

Women however exercised more power in their home and family settings. They were responsible solely fir molding and taking care of the home and children.
