This is a good idea for the majority of times because each state has a different population, with different concerns depending if it is a rural or urban community.

States should not be able to make there own laws. Reason number one is because the state would make laws according to what benifits them and not other states. Some States could apply dangerous laws or laws unfair to people. Laws that are passed now goo through several branches of Goverment to prevent unfairness to others and to make sure there is no cruelty or danger in the laws. It would also be hard for tourist visiting different states because laws in other states would be Completley different than how they are now
