Document 2 states that President Truman ordered an invasion of North Korea while Document 3 states North Korea attempted but failed to overthrow the South Korean's government and then pretended to negotiate while secretly planning an attack. In my opinion, Document 3 seems more reliable since in current time right now, North Korea is isolated from the world. According to the last sentence of Document 3, "A decision was made to help the south, and a UN army, led by the United States, Britain, and France, joined the South Korean forces in an effort to repel the invasion."
