Many people today continue to distrust the national government. In your opinion is such distrust Justified? Explain your position.

I think that the distrust in national government is justified because our government is run by humans that can make mistakes sometimes or not have the best intentions. Another reason would be that I wouldn't want the same people that deliver my mail to be trusted with my life or anyone else's.
