What reason would lead to the newly formed United States government
have for them to create a weak central Government? *

The United States government did not want a strong central government after the
strict and unfair treatment after the French and Indian War

The colonists wanted a government that strong resembled the Native American Cultures that lived around them.

Colonies, now states, wanted to shape the government to act the same as the Spanish
government in Florida.

The colonists wanted slavery to be used across the country and could not do that with
a strong central government.
