What was the Kearny Code, and what did it do?

The Kearny Code became the basis of New Mexico law. It was submitted to Congress along with the Organic Act creating the Territory of New Mexico. It was amended by the territorial legislature, and after statehood by the state legislature, but many of its provisions remain substantially unchanged to this day.

8: he was a man who spoke out to the entire nation about peace and equality, so therefore doing something for your community, or nation, is a way of honoring him because he did the same. everyone learns about martin luther king jr. he is famous in history books, most especially for his “i have a dream” speech that inspired millions worldwide. he spoke to the entire nation about freedom, equality, and peace for all. he was participation in his community and doing what was right for him and all his community. participating in service projects is a great idea to honor his dream and his memory. even thought it’s not was comes first to mind when thinking about community service projects, it is an amazing way to honor an amazing man who changed the future for the better.
