Do you think you have a responsibility to help your friends and family who choose things in life that do not make them fulfilled nor happy? When are you responsible to help them...and when are you not? Provide examples to support your response.

I do not believe that anyone has the responsibility to help anyone, however, it does depend on the situation.  For example, when someone repeatedly chooses to do things that make them unhappy it is their responsibility to help themselves because they know they won't be happy with their descision, yet they make it. If they reach out and ask for help it is okay to help them, but if you have your own life to deal with then focus on you, because everyone has their own responibilites to deal with and you need to be your priortity.

the iconic cartoon that you are talking about is probably a man standing on top of a country with his legs spread wide. 

this cartoon suggests that europeans are powerful enough to subdue an entire continent. this was a satirical image that was drawn during the time of the colonization of the british empire in africa.

this image was inspired by the plans of the british empire to create telegraph lines all over africa promoting the further spread of its colonies through faster communication. the picture depicts the colonial mentality of the british empire in general as well as the struggle of africans to claim their own land. hope this !
