Why were the deaths of Harold godwinson and his brothers gryth and Leofwine godwinson so important in the context of the battle of hastings

Harold and his brothers were killed in Battle of Hastings. The throne was actually for William, Duke of Normandy, because King Edward the confessor chose William I, because they were a long time friends. But Harold seized the Throne, and became king, which angered William, so he made a invasion. Harald Hardrada, the Norwegian king was also seeking the throne. William can't come to British isles from Normandy, because the wind to make ship sail, going on a wrong direction. Godwinson and his brothers waited for the arrival of William, but he didn't came, so he gone on north of England to fight Hardrada. Godwinson and his brother Tostig Godwinson came to see Hardrada's forces, thus starting the Battle of Stamford Bridge. Godwinson's army defeated Hardrada's army, and killed Hardrada.  Godwinson dismissed his army, only to find out that William, duke of Normandy, landed on England, and started his invasion. He assembled his dismissed army, and gone all the way to south, an exhausting trip to fight William's army. The Battle of Hastings begun, and Harold and his brother's were killed and defeated.  William I, got the throne, however  the English language on England was changed, when William seized the throne.
