An editorial from the Charleston Mercury I'm 1860 can help us to understand the chief reasons behind the outbreak of the US civil war.   A Charleston Mercury editorial termed the US civil war as the Southern war of Independence.  This is a primary source which was written during the time of US civil war.

well that depends on how deep the hole is. you'd first go through te crust of the earth, then the upper mantle, then the lower mantle then the outer core, then the inner cor then you'd be stuck in the core to melt.
