Explain at least 3 reasons why colonists would want representative government in the colonies.

When the 13 colonies of the New World were established they set up a representative government because they wanted a system of checks and balances. If their representatives did not meet the interests of the people they could be voted out of office.

Explanation:

1. Increase in population that allowed cities to form and grow, which allowed centers of government to form.

2. Development of an independent economy with some colonies issuing money.

3. Increasing attempts by the British to control and dominate their colonies that made home rule more and more appealing.

that is because lower interest rates allowed people to work harder to make money. it multiplied like that and now the uno(not the game) is very strong.
