What is the difference between a photograph taken by an eyewitness to an event and a painting depicting the same event

In this example we can affirm that the difference occurs in the level of subgetivity of both images. In the case of photography, we can say that subjectivity will be less than painting since although the photographer can decide how to accommodate the objects and the environment he photographed, the camera will always represent a reality, on the other hand in the case of painting, the artist will inevitably reflect his way of conceiving that reality and it may contain a higher level of subjectivity.
