The most of the tribes had their own language and also their own kind of society. None of these ethnic groups were a nation, all of them were their own little community. Plus, religious n political ideals.

Also how they were living was different, from stone houses to tents, and their techniques and tools of hunting, fishing, and farming. Furthermore, the goods they used for trading with other tribes were different from the areas they were.
