One main effect of the conflict between the two was the Bill of Rights, the Antifederalists wanted to ensure people's rights were protected under the constitution. Many of the checks and balances were also put in place because both sides didn't want the other to get too much power. Almost all laws put into place to limit federal power were an effect of the antifederalist not agreeing with the federalist and the majority of the federal government came from the minds of federalists.
