They got more angry when they started being forced to pay for Britain's war expenses. Because of all this anger, they formed protests such as the Boston tea party and mobs in the streets that led to the Boston massacre. As for Crispus Attucks, he is widely regarded as the first person killed by the British in the Boston Massacre.
