Okay, so sorry if you get this wrong but this is also a 'your opinion' so if you agree you would explain why you would agree and if you dont agree then you would explain why you dont agree. I think what it is saying is do you agree that it is better to have lived with them to know what happened or is it better to have just learned it from a teacher or something.
