the fact is , that the unevenness of development of the capitalist countries usually leads in time to violent disturbance of equilibrium in the world in the world system of capitalism, that group capitalist countries which considers itself worse provided than others with raw materials and markets  usually making attempts to alter the situation and repartition the "spheres of influences" in its favor by armed force.

dont take my answer for this question unless you want to, but this was a HUGE struggle.What this whole article is mostly saying is that during the cold war there was many armed forces, markets and raw materials(to make different without changing into something else an event that altered the course of history.) Lets just say that the cold war was very intense and was involved with many deaths
