Political cartoons are very important part in newspaper. Political cartoons are enhanced a small part of a newspaper, frequently in a corner. The position of this piece is even though small but the impact will be huge. As this picture by J.S. As the  shift reformed in the mid 1880 of outsiders to the United States from the northern and western part of Europe to those southern and eastern Europe mostly Italian and Jewish, many Americans trusted those would never be “true” Americans and they should not have the right to vote in general elections.

abraham lincoln, according to anyone who was connected with agriculture, represented the worst of northern politicians. shortly after lincoln was elected, south carolina seceded from the union. they along with other southern states, retained their anger. in a way, it was their own fault: the democrats were split in the south. some wanted slavery to be extended in other states that were about to join the union and some didn't want it badly enough. lincoln had a solid backing from his party: the republicans were united in not wanting slavery to be expanded.
