Description: You guys are in 8th grade and “drama” is an everyday part of many of your lives, so put your skills with handling drama to use. This exercise will be a fun way for you to review the major purpose of the Declaration of Independence. Use the design templatePreview the document to write a letter to King George III about separating from England and forming a new country. Expectation:

Write a breakup letter as if you were writing it to your boyfriend or girlfriend, but instead of their names, I want you to address the letter to the King of England or Britain.
The letter must contain the following elements:
The purpose of the letter (or the purpose of the Declaration of Independence)
The reason that you are so angry with England (must have 3-4 examples)
The action you will take because of your anger
Your letter must be at least a page in length but no more than 2 pages
Your letter must be SCHOOL APPROPRIATE (no swearing or inappropriate language) however, using slang to make it interesting is acceptable.
