What were the economic effects of one of the enlightenment reforms?

Ideas of free trade or laissez faire were first propagated in this period. As people moved from rural areas to cities, economic reliance shifted from agriculture to non-agriculture products. Life style began to change.

first industrial revolution - the first wave of the industrial revolution lasted from the late 1700s to the mid-1800s. it industrialized the manufacture of textiles and began the move of production from homes to factories. steam power and the cotton gin played an important role in this period.

the  equal rights amendment  (era) states: "equality  of  rights  under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the united states or by any state on account of sex." congress first introduced the era in 1923, but the campaign for ratification took off in the 1960s during the  civil rightsmovement.
