Explanation:

The two effects were money (The British wanting to raise taxes) and expanding authority. So what that sounds like to me the British back then wanted a lot of power. Not only that the British attempted to limit the western colonist which angered them! The American colonist wanted to expand their land near the west to access more natural resources. The British were concerned about this because expanding to the west will result in a war. I think the American colonist were rebellious as well and expanded their land to the west.
