In the account of Sinue, the aboriginal New term period revealed a common enthusiasm in Middle Kingdom culture, and the New Kingdom scribal class put into view the early poems classics. The early New Kingdom term experienced two important shifts in the creation of literary texts. The main one is the substance on which the texts were inscribed, from papyri to ostraca. The second is the fact that there was a likelihood to copy excerpts of the poems instead of the complete editions. Those variations in text creation were mirrored by an alteration in burial activity and process which as to do with the use of writing boards, instead of papyrus scrolls, deposited in tombs (pp.175-179). Parkinson was of the notion that Sinuhe, in particular, influenced the New Kingdom elite and could have structured the conceptions of foreign lands.
