How is the Declaration of Independence hyporcritical

The Declaration of Independence could be seen as hypocritical because back then there was an issue with inequality between people. This includes slavery and unfairness to women. The Declaration was a really big deal because all people thought that this was going to be the chance that things change, but in the Declaration of Independence there is a line saying, "all men are created equal". This is acknowledging that how people of color were treated was wrong and that they are just as much human and worth the same as a white man is, but the line is totally excluding women. The line "all men are created equal" allowed people of color to vote, but it still didn't allow women the same treatment of men.
