The federalists wanted a federal government that had a central leader. Today the political situation appoints an executive head as the president of the country.

The anti-federalists feared that too much power in the hands of one person would lead to a dictatorship. Today the central government is separated into 3.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

First, some context.

Federalists, led by prominent Americans such as Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay, supported the idea of a strong central government for the United States. On the other hand, Antifederalists such as Thomas Jefferson did not support that way of thinking. They believed in a simpler form of government in which the citizens had natural rights.

Each side's viewpoint is reflected in our political institutions today in the polarization of political and economic views each political party has. The Republican vision is totally opposed to the Democratic vision of how they want to rule the United States.

This situation has notoriously divided the country into two radical parts that have no intention to negotiates, just to impose their conditions. And that must stop.

The United States founding fathers also had many differences during the Constitutional Convention of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1783, but they were humble and smart enough to debate, listen to each other's arguments, and negotiate to allow the best interests of the country. And that is what is much needed today.

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
