What recent improvements fueled “Oregon Fever”? So, I know that the Oregon trail took place around the time of the industrial revolution, and during the industrial revolution inventions like the telegraph, sort-of paved roads, the penny press, the erie canal and the steam boat were invented. But I don't know if any of that had anything to do with starting Oregon fever. Please help me. Thanks so much :)
