The letter should follow standard business format and be one well-developed paragraph, discussing the bill as well as how the congressperson should vote, and why. Support your letter with evidence using principles from the Constitution.
The paragraphs should include the following:
an introduction to the bill your elected official is sponsoring and the duties of the committee
how the elected official should vote on this issue and why
evidence from the Constitution regarding the elected official's responsibilities and the powers of Congress
Be sure to properly cite your sources at the end of the letter.
