The Enlightened Absolutism during the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe were indeed incorporated by Enlightened despots such as Joseph and Catherine because it made their countrymen love them even more resulting to even more power at their hands compared to what they had before. Their adoption of this idea made them more powerful over Europe which was basically what every person has ever wanted during the 18th and 19th centuries as it portrayed them as respectful and elegant leaders who have the capacity to rule over any land they desire because with the great power they hold they could control the people around them as well.
