Confucianism: Confucianism is one of the more popular philosophies that grew in China. Confucianism affected society by encouraging people to respect their family and put others before themselves. It impacted government by spreading hard work and keeping promises throughout China.

Daoism: Daoism is one of the more less popular philosophies, but it still spread rapidly throughout China. It encouraged society to turn to nature and give up on big desires. Daoism is similar to Buddhism, sharing the fact that both support giving up on worldly desires. Daoism/Taoism impacted government by encouraging rulers to treath others more kindly and freely. Though, Daoism was sort of anti-government, but it still did a major impact in China.

Legalism: Legalism may be one of the more popular philosophies because of its resort to violence. Legalism believed in harsh punishments to people who do not do their role in society. Legalism impacted society by giving people harsh punishments and rewarding people who do their duty. Most lower-classed people were against Legalism. Legalism impacted government a lot, as I said before Legalism was more used from rulers because it resorted to violence.
