2. The need is so great that it resembles coming across the prison camps after WWII

3. Uncle Sam can solve everyone's problems. I'm not sure why the cartoonist centered his attention on Ireland. But England is in pretty good shape and Germany is out for the count. I don't see Greece represented, and German occupation was tough on them. France was also brutal. Many lives were lost in Russia, but she seems to be in the upper "beds". Why I don't know.

The woman is the American taxpayers I think. No matter what America decides to do, the Taxpayer will foot the bill.
