Are Parents Allowed to Hit You with the belt and Leave Red Visable Marks?

Natural parents have the right to use a reasonable amount of physical force on their child to restrain or correct the child. Generally, any use of force that leaves more than transitory red marks, such as cuts, bruises, burns, etc. would be excessive and could subject the parent to a criminal prosecution
