At the head of the tribe was the chief sachem and besides him, a significant role was played by a tribal council composed of older members of the tribe. They fought each other, but there were no liquidation cases of innocent women, children, the elderly and the infirm. Individual disputes were resolved by battles of the best warriors from opposing tribes. Based on that, it is possible to conclude that they valued life more. A negative phenomenon among certain indigenous tribes of North America is cannibalism, which especially horrified European immigrants. Today, it is a nation that is fully involved in the American way of life.
