Without the French and Indian War, could the colonies have joined together to fight the Revolutionary War?

I think that they would because even without the French and Indian war colonists had certain grievances towards the government, that didn't respected their rights as British subjects.

French and Indian war increased the dissatisfaction of the colonists as new taxes were imposed, including the Tea Act, Townshend acts and many other. But, even before this measures Britain had imposed many laws and taxes that were not easily accepted in the colonies. Therefore, even without the French and Indian War the colonies  would show their dissatisfaction.
