What do people mean when they say the economy is good or the economy is bad?

People refer to the economy as “good” when prices are low, unemployment is low, the people and government are profiting. People refer to the economy as “bad” when unemployment is up, taxes are getting bigger, people’s houses are getting repossessed, and the governments losing money.
