Darius the Great of Darius I (550-486) was the Emperor of the Persian Empire. He was part of the Achaemenid Dynasty in the Middle East. He commanded his armies to fight against Greece, trying to capture those lands until he was defeated in the battle of Marathon.

The other Great leader is Alexander the Great. Alexander was born in Macedonia in 356 BC. He was the son of Philip II and a disciple of the famous philosopher Aristotle. He took the control of the reign after the death of his father. Alexander became a great leader and a feared conqueror. He defeated King Darius III; to conquer the Persian Empire.
