Well... The native American's use to hunt and make their food. They use natural resources available such as bushes etc. to help build their houses for shelter. Also, I think some of them use to make their clothes out of animal skin( not quite sure).

While, These days we buy food from supermarkets, restaurants, or shops. We buy materials from hardware to help build house. We buy clothes from shops or stores. So in conclusion to, We do things different than how the native American's use to.
