Why is participation in community service projects an appropriate way to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.?

Everyone learns about Martin Luther King Jr. He is famous in history books, most especially for his “I Have a Dream” speech that inspired millions worldwide. He spoke to the entire nation about freedom, equality, and peace for all. He was participation in his community and doing what was right for him and all his community. Participating in service projects is a great idea to honor his dream and his memory. Even thought it’s not was comes first to mind when thinking about community service projects, it is an amazing way to honor an amazing man who changed the future for the better.

Explanation: He was a man who spoke out to the entire nation about peace and equality, so therefore doing something for your community, or nation, is a way of honoring him because he did the same.

separation of powers, therefore, refers to the division of government responsibilities into distinct branches to limit any one branch from exercising the core functions of another.   the intent is to prevent the concentration of power and provide for checks and balances.

forty state constitutions specify that government be divided into three branches:   legislative, executive and judicial.   california illustrates this approach; "the powers of state government are legislative, executive, and judicial.   persons charged with the exercise of one power may not exercise either of the others except as permitted by this constitution."
