North Korea:

Usually one would work in farms or factories and it is mandatory that most citizens serve in the military for a certain amount of time. Villages and small towns are common as the biggest city in North Korea is the Capital, Pyongyang. Daily announcements would be made and state-approved media will only be shown on television and heard on radios. The quality of living is horrible as most North Koreans are extremely poor and depend on the distribution of food by the state. State-education is in place and secret police would occasionally check your property.

United States:

A comfortable and livable quality of life. Most citizens of the US are able to afford food for their own families and pay for housing that includes running water and electricity. Open and free media is allowed and could be suppressed if it carries false information. Military service is not mandatory and offers benefits for veterans.

no every country is held to the same degree as others just some member countries such as the usa and germany are more economically sound so the need to show there support to all others
