The Answer is A, not D. The Coercive Acts were not repealed by Parliament. One of the reasons why the colonists went to war with the British was because of their enforcement of the Acts and their refusal to repeal them. If they had repealed them and had given the colonists freedom and hadn’t restricted their liberties, the Revolutionary War would have been much more avoidable. And obviously it angered the colonists. They were extremely angry, which is why they pushed for independence and rebellion.
